How to browse and search the EBSCO eBook Collection

How to get to the EBSCO eBook Collection:

  • Go to the Thurgood Marshall Library Web page
  • Click on 'E-Resources' (see the menu bar on the left side of the screen)
  • Find and click on EBSCO eBook Collection...next step: login

    


2. If you access from off-campus, login using the 14-digit LIB# on your Bulldog ID Card

You are now in the EBSCO eBook collection ready to type in your keywords or book title in the basic search box, or go to the left side of the page under "Browse by Category" and select a category such as "computer science" or "history" for browsing. There is also an Advanced Search option link located just under the basic search box.

Once you have found a book you like, click on the title to open a window with more information and options specific to that title. On the far left of the screen (see screen image below) are links to available formats (PDF, EPUB, or both), a link to download the book, and a link to open the contents for browsing. The center of the screen provides bibliographic information (with links) about the book, and on the column to the far right of the screen under the heading "Tools" are links which allow actions such as printing and e-mailing.
