Software for downloading/ reading EBL and Ebsco e-books

Adobe Digital Editions

To download and read EBL e-books offline, you must first install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). You can download this FREE software from the ADE Website.

For detailed instructions on how to use Digital Editions (including activation and authorization information), please refer to the ADE help and support pages.  Please also check the ADE system requirements. The Adobe Support Forums are an excellent source for helpful solutions to ADE issues. See also the Adobe Digital Editions / FAQ.

Adobe ID

When you set up FREE Adobe Digital Editions with your FREE Adobe ID, it will synchronize your account across different devices - your personal computer (laptop or desktop), smart phone, or tablet - so you can access your content on any of them. You can have up to six different devices linked to your account.

You can create your Adobe ID when prompted within Adobe Digital Editions, or go directly to the Adobe.com, select “Sign in” in the top-right corner, then click on “Not a Member Yet? Get an Adobe ID” and follow the instructions for creating an Adobe ID. For more information about Adobe ID 'whys' and 'hows,' see the Adobe Digital Editions / FAQ.

Bluefire Reader app

If you are on a tablet or mobile device (Apple or Android), you will need to download the FREE Bluefire Reader app to use on your mobile device.
