Unfortunately, Reference books can't be taken out of the library. Don't worry though, you won't be reduced to note taking. We have a couple of options for you:
1. Scanning - Preferred by 9 out of 10 librarians (or more). At the end of the circulation desk there is a strange goose-necked device. This is our book scanner. It is self-serve and completely free to use, but you need to have a flash drive with you. You can scan pages onto your flash drive as a PDF and either print them out later or, if you actually care about the environment, you can just read them on the computer. There are no limits to how often you can use the scanner, but if there are people waiting we do enforce a 10 minute time limit.
2. Copying - It's free to copy in the library but, because it's free, there are some limitations. Everyone gets 1000 free copies per semester. These have to be budgeted and CANNOT be reset until the next semester. See circulation staff to register for the copier and set up your pin number.
3. Printing - Printing is also free but, again, comes with some limitations. Every student gets 70 printed pages per week and ALL printing is double sided. You can see staff at the circulation desk if you have any issues or problems printing.
