Where are the Juvenile Literature Biographies located?

Some of the biographies in the Thurgood Marshall library collection are written for younger youth or juveniles. These biographies are located in the Curriculum Labratory which is on the second floor of the Thurgood Marshall Library. If you are not sure if a title is a juvenile or youth book, please ask for help at the Circulation or Reference/Information Desk or call (301) 860-3862 or (301) 860-3870. 

Curriculum Laboratory

The Curriculum Laboratory is located on the second floor of the Thurgood Marshall Library, Room 2210. Circulating materials of the Curriculum Laboratory follow the same circulation policy as the general library. However reference, periodicals and other specified items such as kits, games and manipulatives are not checked out, but can be used within the Curriculum Laboratory. The Curriculum Laboratory collection primarily supports the College of Education students with emphasis on pre-service/in-service teachers, faculty, staff and University campus, as well as educational professionals and individuals interested in curriculum related materials.

Operational hours for the semester are:

  • Monday 9am-1pm
  • Tuesday 9am-1pm
  • Wednesday 9am-5pm
  • Thursday 9am-1pm
  • Friday 9am-1pm
